  • Trainer and consultant in organisational and personal development since 1989

  • Twenty years' experience as a teacher, including managerial roles

  • Five years' experience in the Education Advisory Service

  • Two years as a trainer in Child Protection

  • Personal and clinical experience of individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy since 1991

Professional practice and code of ethics

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP).

As a member of the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI), I work within their rigorous code of ethics and practice. I also subscribe to the code of ethics set by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

 

These codes cover issues of confidentiality, professional conduct and standards. The SPTI is registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am committed to my own continuing development and to regular clinical supervision.

 

Self-referrals are welcomed along with those referred from other professionals. I accept self-referrals from members of the caring professions wanting personal development and support to complement their own work with people.
